Call for Submissions: The Inaugural Naija Poetry Fest Community Anthology

The Naija Poetry Fest Community is proud to officially announce the call for submissions for our first-ever community poetry anthology. This landmark project was conceived to document, celebrate, and amplify the distinct, vibrant voices within our growing literary movement.

Beyond a simple collection of verses, this publication stands as a living archive, a cultural record capturing the collective imagination, shared experiences, and authentic spirit of our contemporary artistic era.

We invite poets from across the community to contribute their work and join us in shaping this milestone publication.

Project Supervision

To ensure the highest standard of editorial integrity and artistic excellence, this project is overseen by Lanre Sonde, serving as Project Supervisor alongside the lead editorial team.

Submission Guidelines

To maintain a seamless review process, all contributors are kindly asked to adhere strictly to the following parameters:

  • Write on any relevant subject matter.
  • Each poet may submit ONE (1) original poem only.
  • AI-generated poems will NOT be accepted. We value authentic human creativity, originality, and lived expression.
  • Every submission must include a short biography of not more than five (5) lines.

Submission Portal: Send your entry electronically to our official email address: naijapoetryfest@gmail.com

Anthology Unveiling

The completed anthology will be officially launched and unveiled on March 21, 2027, during the annual Naija Poetry Fest, in global celebration of World Poetry Day.

A Legacy in the Making

Your voice carries weight, and your perspective matters. This publication is an open invitation to place your work in a collection that will outlast the moment.

This is more than an anthology. It is a literary archive of our voices, our experiences, our imagination, and our time.”

Thank you for your cooperation, enthusiasm, and prompt response to this call.
