BROTHERHOOD AND SISTERHOOD

Those days are gone
Many many moons flown.
When man prized his hood, as our sisters’ food.
Now is enthroned falsehood
Cross modes of dress crossed
Against crass liberty cross.
Genders change like our climate change.
Unpredictably obnoxious
Weaving tapestries of bafflement.
This gender miseducation.

Miseducation of a nation
Forced into confederation.
Miseducation of millennials in propagation.
Forced identity meets dis-identity.
So Gen-Zees miss the education.
Altering a mister for a miss.

Those days are gone
Many many moons flown.
When Her silhouette is exclusively hers.
The uprising of deviations
Engendering declination,
In Mother Nature’s gender delineation.
I see your deep sadness
Oh Mother Nature,
As Crazy Mother Nurture’s
Identity miseducation
Endangers future generations.

You confused generation
Confounded rainbow nation
You indulge aberration.
You cross-gendered fool
You think the rainbow cool
Cos flown and indulged in
Prurient imperialist States,
Other white sodom nations.
Tis a pity you clutch hard this falsehood,
This reverser of lives that breeds regrets.
Irreversible regrets.

The abnormal becoming normal
Masquerading as Gen-Zees
You are lost to our valued norms.
Woman adrift in her bewildered soul,
Man lost in the labyrinth of his being.
Truly are these the leaders of tomorrow?

Tomorrow, of what use is tomorrow
When yesterday was once tomorrow.
A world of fools, April’s ninnies we are.
We celebrate mediocrity in high podiums
For decency is now obsolete.
Tomorrow, I fear Tomorrow…

My homeland has exhumed and adopted a foul taste.
My brothers transcend to sisters, our sacred sanity raped.
From the northside a pitiful sight.
Can you hear the wailings of the sky?
The talking drum resounds, is anyone listening?
The chains of colony off our necks but around our minds.
We blunder into depravity
Abhorrent to our nativity.

Is ditching morals civilization mode?
Rejecting the cloak of respectability,
Is really today’s custom norm?

Norms birthed by new freedoms.
A people stuck amidst indecision’s smog.
Do I flow with the trend
or mellow and not blend?
Dis-gendering the bone of contention.
I do not even understand! đŸ¤¦

Can two men stand before Ifa and kiss?
But long gone those days when Sango,
Son of Orayan ruled in mystic thunders.
The dreadful noon fire
Now flung out of shades, mocked by scorners.
Who is crying now?

Now they make their own gods
Who embrace misplaced identities
Now they make their own laws
Who do not strike them for their choices.
Now their perverted identities are perceived as,
A concoction brewed by the mind of a floundering soul.

Today is just yesterday’s shadow.
Today the disinformation ation gloats on the throne,
With this generation its willing subject.
Blinded by the strom lights of flicks
For sleek, chic and frick
They remove “TER” from “MISTER”
To become a Mistake.
They repudiate truth and fling the sayer against condemnation.
All for dis-identification.
Sigh.

How long will it go on?
A Generation Zee without a defined zeal,
Falling prey to this ill,
Why can’t boys be boys and girls be girls?
A sad generation where brazen women cross out the “WO” And men opt for silhouettes of figure eight.
Can the world heal this gender disease or is it rather too late?

Like terms should obey
The laws of attraction.
But gone are those days many moons flown.
Unlike terms now attract in distraction.
Today breeds odd couples of shees and hees.
Who will explain to adopted children nurtured in confusion?

Confusion of mingled genders.
Unmindfully amoral transgenders.
A trending speed train ferrying lost souls.

I envisaged not this future.
From the past, we never saw this coming.
None could have prophesied.
The discordant melodrama strikes a dis-chord
It shatters my nerves,
But I am enraged not unnerved.
For truth is still discarded.
How then can I say, “welcome to the future”?

Well my pen continues the struggle and I hope
That the crazy generation Zees
Recants fast and heals!
I hope!
I hope!
